At night it cooled off quite a bit so we made a nice campfire to keep us warm. We hung out by the fire all evening, chatted it up with Eric's parents, and looked up at the stars.
We slept in the next morning and then we got up and went out to breakfast. It always amazes me that the smallest towns always have the best restaurants for breakfast! I've tried so many restaurants in Phoenix for breakfast that don't even come close to this place... The Pine Country Restaurant.
Eric ordered the Country Breakfast... Eggs, the BEST potatoes, bacon, sausage...
and a huge biscuit with gravy on the side.
I ordered the French Toast with a side of bacon and nibbled on Eric's potatoes too. Mmmm!!!
After breakfast we did a little work, went on a walk, and kicked back with the inlaws dogs! I thoroughly enjoyed unplugging and being away from the computer, the internet, tv, and all that stuff. The perfect weekend in the tiny little town of Williams.

Hey Sunny! Looks like so much fun and good food too!!!!!!!! Gotta love small town diners. Makes me miss Payson! BTW - check out TC Eggingtons in Mesa. Best french toast ever.

ReplyDeleteI live on a farm in the middle of nowhere-my closest town is 12 miles away, and even that only has a population of 900. But tell you what, we have the BEST diner for breakfast! We take all of our out-of-town guests and they agree, it is the best breakfast! Funny how that always works!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome plates of food! Breakfast is my favorite meal.
