Life When You're Married To A Firefighter.

So when you're married to a firefighter it's almost certain that if you both are invited to a fun event, you're husband WILL be working that day.  Between the super random weekly schedule and the 24 hour long work shifts, it almost always works out that way.  So when we got the invitation to a friend's wedding I immediately checked my calendar and, yep, he was scheduled to work that day.

Fortunately my husband's parents and sister were going to the wedding, so I wasn't completely alone.  My sister came over before the wedding and did my makeup.

I had my reservations about going alone, but I'm so glad I did!  It was a beautiful wedding!

Yummy food too! Turkey with cranberry sauce, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, and a roll.  Mmm...

My husband works just down the street from where the wedding was so we ended up stopping by the station afterwards and said hi and he showed his parents and his sister around.  A nice ending to a fun day!

***In weight loss news, I'm only three pounds from my goal!  Yippee!!
